Indonesia is drowning in plastic
The human being is “plasticizing” the planet. 8 million tons of plastic waste are dumped into the world's oceans each year : one refuse truck’s-worth of plastic every minute. Indonesia is the world's second biggest source of marine plastic waste, after China. To fight against this pollution, harmful to ecosystems and human health, Indonesians are mobilizing.
